In today's episode of the podcast, I'll be reviewing a contemporary romance novel by Lizzie Damilola Blackburn, "Yinka, Where Is Your Huzband?".
The novel follows Yinka, a 32-year-old Black woman living in the UK, as she faces the compounding pressures of the patriarchy, an overbearing mother and aunties, and colorism, in her quest to secure herself a man.
